My story

In short...
I help small business owners enjoy their business more.  By taking on the boring, repetitive but essential aspects of running a business and using systems and technology I give them more time.

My working life may have started in HR admin but my flare for organisation soon took me into marketing and events. Lunches, seminars, awards and gala dinners were all designed and delivered. Having always enjoyed travel and scuba diving I took an adventurous career break to work as a diving instructor in the Mediterranean. I returned to reality working for a corporate organisation but soon realised there was more to life than making money for big business.

As someone who enjoys helping others I wanted to channel all my knowledge and skills into assisting others with their businesses. I am passionate about supporting business owners and offering a high quality service.

So, I established the Paper Dove to help small business owners make peace with their paperwork. The extra time can be used to achieve more goals, grown your business or just take some time out. It’s up to you!

I fit my work around life with my family and friends, a love of the great outdoors and being active. I live in rural Leicestershire and still scuba dive, although these days it’s just on holidays in warmer climates.

How I can help you?

If you haven't worked with a Virtual Assistant before don’t worry. I am ready to tidy your inbox, create your database, undertake that research or help you tackle the bottom of your to do list!

With my help you can move away from spending time on the tasks you hate to focusing on the things you love. My aim is to ensure you’re able to do what you specialise in while I take care of those behind the scenes tasks to support you. Some of those tasks are detailed on the Services page, although that’s not an exhaustive list.

We'll have a chat to discuss your goals, which tasks you could outsource and what to prioritise. It'll be an opportunity to see if we’re a good match for each other and can start building a good rapport!

For your peace of mind, I am registered with the ICO and hold public liability and professional indemnity insurance. I have a great network of brilliant VAs with a variety of skills to call on if necessary.
